The Mohawk Hudson Humane Society (MHHS) is the Capital Region’s largest and most trusted humane society. Offering services like low-cost spay/neuter, adoption clinics, yoga with cats, and animal therapy classes, MHHS is widely loved in the community. Their website was vastly outdated and was entirely custom coded. Many features such as a live kitty cam, calendar of events, and integration with the Petango pet adoption fee were not functioning efficiently for either front end or back end user. At the time of the redesign, MHHS had also just underwent a massive renovation and a new building was built. This new building opened up many new opportunities for them, and it was time to update the website to reflect their new physical presence. A mood board, site audit, site architecture, and web layout were delivered to MHHS. An additional multi-page design guideline was delivered along with website training. The site was developed in the Drupal 8 CMS.
